Aditya Dhar, the filmmaker behind Dhurandhar, took to X to address Hrithik Roshan’s second review of the movie. The film features Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Rakesh Bedi in leading roles.
Dhurandhar’s director confirmed he saw Hrithik’s glowing follow-up comment, following a previous post where Hrithik admitted disagreeing with the film’s politics. Dhar expressed gratitude for the encouragement and hinted that the team will strive to meet that enthusiasm in Dhurandhar Part 2.

Dhar took to X (formerly Twitter) to acknowledge Hrithik Roshan’s second review, which Hrithik posted after his initial reaction. The ensemble cast includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Arjun Rampal.
In his second review, shared on X and Instagram, Hrithik wrote: “Dhurandhar isn’t leaving my mind. @AdityaDharFilms is an extraordinary creator. @RanveerOfficial embodies a transition from silence to intensity—what a journey, and consistently strong.
“#Akshayekhanna has always been my favorite, and this film confirms why. @ActorMadhavan brings grace, strength, and dignity! And @bolbedibol, your turn was phenomenal… what an performance. A huge round of applause for everyone, especially the makeup and prosthetics teams! I can’t wait for Part 2,” he added.
Responding to Hrithik’s praise, Dhar commented, “ deeply humbled by your appreciation for #DHURANDHAR, @iHrithik Sir.”
“Every actor and department gave more than 100%, and your praise is a great boost for the entire crew. Thank you for celebrating their craft. Part 2 is on the way… and we’ll do our best to live up to this encouragement (fist-in-hand emoji),” he wrote.
Hrithik’s second post came just hours after his initial praise, where he commended the storytelling while noting disagreement with the film’s political undertones.
Hrithik posted on Instagram Stories: “I love cinema. I love when a story pulls you into its vortex, spins you, shakes you, until what needs to be said is poured onto the screen. DHURANDAR demonstrates that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.”
“I may disagree with the politics, and I question the responsibilities filmmakers bear as global citizens. Still, this is a film to learn from and enjoy as a student of cinema. Truly amazing,” added the War 2 star.
The online chatter erupted with curiosity about why Hrithik posted another review so soon after the first. Reactions varied from questions about a potential backtrack to wonder if different admins run his X and Instagram accounts. One commenter noted, “Hrithik on IG: ‘I disagree with the politics.’ Hrithik on X 48 hours later: ‘But the cinema, though.’”
